Types of Pieces Published:
- Case Studies: An episode of circumstance that a professional in theatre and education might encounter (400 words)
- Reflection: A written reflection on a meaningful moment of engagement within the field of theatre and education (1500 words)
- Lesson Plan: A procedure of instruction for theatre and education
- Photo Essays: A series of images that capture a moment of theatre and education
- Interviews: A written dialogue transcribed from an in-person meeting, phone call, or email (1500 words)
- Opinion/Editorial: An editorialized commentary on a matter of theatre and education (500 words)
Editorial Process:
- Writer pitches idea to editor — or — editor solicits writer
- Writer submits draft of article
- Editor transfers piece to GoogleDocs for phase one of editing
- Editor sends edited draft to writer after phase one, the GoogleDoc is now a working document
- Writer accepts or responds to editors’ notes
- Article goes to copy editor for copy edits
- Article is approved by editor
- Article is scheduled for circulation
